sorry here i am sharing something about Kuala Lumpur tourism, everytime I fly into KL and stay for a few days to get a connecting flight, I get approached in the street often during the day by initially one Malaysian girl then usually a few others join as the conversation develops.
The story goes that they have a friend who is coming to my country as a student and needs some information about living there.
They want me to go back to their place for 20 minutes to meet the person.
The first time I heard it I was in a hurry and gave them my email address and mentioned I could answer questions best this way.
In the same day I was appraoched 2 more times, different people but the very same exact story.
Then I was certain it was some sort of scam.
So what is this scam?????
Are they religious freaks like the Moonies or Children of God hoping to recruit some new members?
Do they have a friend who wants to sell "cheap" gold or do they want a drug courier back to my country.
As I travel extensively in Asia I thought I knew all the scams.
So what is this one about and is it reportable to police?
